Yall....this was a tough one to do but SO WORTH IT!!!
When we first began discussing locations for Kelby and Adam's session, we decided that we wanted to do something with some beautiful scenic views in the mountains. We decided on Hanging Rock, and after multiple reschedules due to all the rain we have had in the past two weeks, their session was finally here on Memorial Day Weekend (which we had unbelievably beautiful weather!) While Kelby, Colby, and I wore hiking attire with the intention of changing at the top of the mountain, Adam came dressed in his dress shirt and shorts, and in our 35-minute 1.3-mile hike he didn't break a sweat which was impressive!
Kelby and Adam looked so gorgeous for their engagement session. They were complete naturals in front of the camera like they had done these hundreds of times before. When you can really connect with a couple on a personal level it really helps break down those barriers of things being awkward, this is a huge reason we love doing these engagement sessions hiking up a mountain. It really gives you the time to get personal and talk about all kinds of things on the way up the mountain and time to bond.
The end result and the images we were able to capture speak for themselves. Kelby and Adam it was such a joy and honor to photograph your engagement at Hanging Rock State Park, and we cannot wait for your wedding at one of our favorite venues, Il Bella Gardens in Albemarle!!!!
